Udaan is a photography initiative of Art For Causes, wherein students from low income schools get can opportunity to explore photography as an art. Currently, we are undertaking the second edition with over 30 students from five low income schools. Thirty cameras are given to the participants who are mentored by four eminent photographers and taken to different locations in the city. Studio and outdoor sessions are conducted to teach them the fundamentals of photography and sensitize them to their surroundings.
The underlying objective is to facilitate them if they decide to take up photography as a career option and connect them to the right sources.
